CCORS Henderson Pond Race Update: Some trees and debris were removed from the trail yesterday. The crew also worked on removing some standing water that had collected on the trail. A crew is going back out today at 10:00 a.m. to continue working on the trail. There are a couple of problem sections they will need to deal with; however there are by-pass options that can be used if these problems persist until tomorrow. Bottom line is the race is still ON for Sunday 2/16/14 in Jacksonville. The forecast is for Sunny and 48 for the start of the race so it should be a great day for a race.
