Here is the latest from Down East Cyclists about the layout for CCORS Race #3 coming up at Henderson Pond:

“rain this week and next but the 8th is looking good with sun and temps close to 60.  We will use the course layout map on the current CCORS link for race #3.  As you see we do have by-passes in place for the worst of our trail that is currently flooded…With the weather looking good for next Fri, Sat & Sun,  we’ll do what we can to avoid the worst of any wet trail like we did on the second race last year, but you can bet there will still be some mud 🙂  We will be ready to go one way or
the other!”

If you didn’t race the second race at HP last year then you missed a great (dry!) race because the DEC guys did a great job routed around all the areas of the trail that had standing water for the first race…so we expect another great race at HP on Sunday!

Don’t forget to come a little earlier and be sure to bring you ID, vehicle registration, and insurance information with you as you will have to go through Camp Lejeune security before you can get to the trail. Also don’t forget to set your clocks up 1 hour before going to bed on Saturday night.

See you at the races!
